AEKU disposable range reviews: tested in Malaysia (2026) (v8)
AEKU disposable range advice for Malaysia, covering getting started, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Most Malaysia buyers start with a well-known brand name and then discover that fit and coil availability matter far more. In Malaysia, availability of the 0.8 Ω regular coil is the practical bottleneck, not the device itself.
Budget matters in Malaysia, but with aeku disposable range the cheapest option is rarely the one that lasts. Replacement coils are widely available, and the 0.8 Ω regular coil is the sensible default to keep in stock.
The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 55:45 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. Pricing in Malaysia shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current MYR rates rather than a fixed list price. Airflow control on the Robust Pro is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank.
The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. What surprised us most was how little the 0.8 Ω regular coil changes the draw character compared with the 55:45 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. Vapour production is more than adequate at 25, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying.
In Malaysia, availability of the 0.8 Ω regular coil is the practical bottleneck, not the device itself. The standard bore mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips. Comparing this against a 55:45 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume.
Charging over Type-C fast charge takes about 32 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries. Two things to check before ordering: the Type-C fast charge socket on the base and whether the 0.8 Ω regular coil is the newer generation. Battery behaviour is where the Robust Pro earns its keep: the 1000 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 25 and recharges over Type-C fast charge.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Blue Raspberry Frost: sweet, tangy, described as sharp blue raspberry with a long cold finish. On a 55:45 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.8 Ω regular mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Malaysia
Availability in Malaysia is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.8 Ω regular and the Type-C fast charge are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 thread matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and MYR rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Our advice is to order one, use it for a fortnight, and only then decide whether to stock up.
